The Power of Yet
Scripture Reference
Philippians 3:12-14
Pastor Sarah teaches on the importance of the word "yet" in our spiritual journey. Even when we don't see it, God is working.
The word 'yet' is one of the most powerful words in the English language. It changes 'I can't do this' into 'I can't do this yet.' That one word holds open the door of possibility. Paul writes in Philippians 3:12: 'Not that I have already obtained this, or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own.' Paul — the greatest missionary in history — said he hadn't arrived yet. And that's okay. The Christian life is not a destination. It's a direction. Are you moving toward Jesus? Then you're on the right path. Don't compare where you are to where someone else is. Compare where you are to where you were. God is more interested in your direction than your perfection.
